KATIE O'DAY TRACHTE - Owner

Katie O'Day Trachte is no stranger to the world of agility. A veteran of the sport for over ten years, she has been a member of the AKC World Team with her Shetland Sheepdog MACH2 Himark Intrepid Jeep Wrangler ("Jeep"), competed for the US in the European Open in Germany, and has competed, placed and qualified in many other national and international competitions. Among these achievements, Katie has also achieved over thirty five competitive titles on numerous dogs of all shapes and sizes. Katie now brings her professional talent as a freelance graphic designer to the sport she knows and loves. A natural perfectionist, she realized that video analysis was a key component to her training program for herself, as well as her students. Noticing that no video service was available in the northeast, HyCaliber Video was born.

My video crew has been hand picked and they all bring their different and incredible talents together to create the most skilled and impressive sports video crew around. Everyone on the HyCaliber Video crew has had a lot of video experience. I'm proud to provide a diverse team of national and internationally known videographers. Each team member knows how our process works. They are all friendly and knowledgeable and I'm always impressed with their work!

FRANK BARTON

Frank’s an award winning video producer/director with a love for the sport of agility. He competes with Belgian Malinois, and has occasionally cross-partnered with his friends’ agility breeds: Tervuren, Border Collie, Sheltie, Golden Retriever, and Laekenois.

As a video producer and director, he serves a diverse list of clients in corporate, education, and entertainment sectors. As a videographer and editor, his creative talents can be seen in several dog-training videos.
He directed, shot and edited the Rachel Sanders video DVD, “Contact Training: Bridging the Gap between Training & Competition” for Clean Run Productions. He also directed and edited Leslie Nelson’s “Really Reliable Recall” video DVD.

MIKE MANCINI

As a seasoned video producer Mike Mancini brings over 3 decades of experience to the team. During his extended career he has written, designed and brought to fruition a vast array of corporate, consumer product and documentary style videos . Both Mike and his wife Carol are Agility Handlers and are proud of their 2 highly competitive Pembroke Corgis, Bernie and Tucker and his affliction for the sport and his talents with the camera provides our team with a resource.

JEN NANNERY

A local USDAA and AKC competitor in the northeast, Jennifer Nannery has been competing since 2005 with her blue merle Border Collie "Chase" (ADCH Silveridge In Hot Pursuit). "Almost" a librarian, Jen is currently taking a break from her masters to figure out what she really wants to do. Enjoying working with various types of media communications (i.e. video, photos, etc) the opportunity to work for HyCaliber Video could not be passed up.
